Holidays are made better when a little something handmade is involved. On this episode of The Knit Show with Vickie Howell we show stitchers how to make their season bright with projects to give and decorate with, plus gift ideas for the crafty types in your life!
*For questions about any of the projects on this episode, please contact the guests directly via social media.
We’re in the decked-out studio (See our pink tree? *swoon*) this episode, to hang out with Designer and Co-Owner of Barrett Wool Co, Susan B. Anderson. Susan shows how to knit the unique, elongated stitch used in the Clover Hat, your go-to gift for everyone on your list — kid and adult alike!
We’re back at it in the studio with Ewe Ewe Yarn’s Heather Walpole who shows a Southwestern take on the season. Her stranded stockings can be brilliantly converted from boot socks to Christmas stocking, by simply changing the needle size and weight of Ewe Ewe yarn you use!
Our last field trip of the season takes us to Vickie’s local yarn store, Hill Country Weavers, where we get a tour of their gorgeous new space and learn from owner, Suzanne Middlebrooks what her trick is to keeping the business successful for over 30 years!
Some of Our Fave Gift Ideas!
Vickie and Content Producer, Karin Strom shared some great gift items to buy for the stitchers in your life!
